Following a successful 6 year PEP service agreement, Saab 340 operator
Loganair has chosen to continue with the program and recently signed a new
agreement with Saab Aircraft for an additional 3 year period. The new contract is
valued at over 6 million dollars (estimated) in revenue for Saab over the period of
the agreement.
Jim Cameron, Loganair Chief Executive comments, "We are pleased to be
continuing our close working relationship with Saab Aircraft as a member of
PEP. PEP membership was invaluable when the airline took on the first two
Saab 340B aircraft and is just as important today with the fleet increased to 13
aircraft".
Saab Aircraft AB President, Michael Andersson, adds, “Saab Aircraft is
delighted to have Scotland’s Airline, Loganair, continue in Saab Aircrafts Parts
Exchange Program. Loganair has been in PEP since the start of their Saab 340
operations in 1999 and the fact that they now choose to extend the relationship
for an additional period, and increase their Saab 340 fleet as well, is a clear
recognition of the quality support services provided by Saab. We look forward to
helping Loganair further evolve their already successful operation.”
